LEGO Architecture Big Ben 21013
Right for you?
The LEGO Architecture Big Ben 21013 is perfect for:
- Fans of architecture and iconic buildings
Now you can reproduce Big Ben, the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster, in a building set featuring the iconic details of this world-famous landmark, as part of the LEGO Architecture series!
The Big Ben Clock Tower is one of the world's most instantly recognisable landmarks. Standing at the northeast corner of the Palace of Westminster in London, England, the Big Ben Clock Tower was erected from 1843-1859 following a fire that burned down much of the original palace.
The clock tower features classical design with a distinct gothic influence. The clockwork itself was designed by Edward John Dent shortly after construction of the tower began. This LEGO Architecture series interpretation of the Big Ben Clock Tower was designed by Slovenian architect Roc Z. Kobe in collaboration with the LEGO design team.
When completed this 346 piece model measures 7.7" (19.6cm) tall, 3.8" (9.6cm) wide and 3.7" (9.6cm) deep.
There's not much to say about LEGO that hasn't already been written a thousand times! It is the definitive building and construction brand, built (ha ha!) on enduring product quality and consistent high profile partnerships.
The company was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen, and remains a family-owned company based in Billund, Denmark, and best known for the manufacture of Lego brand toys.
