LEGO Architecture Seattle Space Needle 21003
Right for you?
The LEGO Architecture Seattle Space Needle 21003 is perfect for:
- Fans of architecture and iconic buildings
Built for the 1962 World's Fair, the Seattle Space Needle dominates the Seattle skyline with its familiar "flying saucer" design. Now you can build Seattle, Washington’s famous Space Needle as part of the LEGO Architecture range!
Created for the 1962 World’s Fair, this sweeping futuristic tower was the fourth in the LEGO Architecture Landmark series of real-world construction models. The original building was designed to withstand winds of up to 200 mph (321 kph) and earthquakes up to 9.5 magnitude - the Space Needle clearly demonstrates the strength of its unique tripod design. This stunning LEGO model, co-developed and designed by Adam Reed Tucker, captures the original Space Needle's "Race into Space" design.
Built out of gray bricks, the assembled Space Needle stands 8.7" (222 mm) tall on a 3.1-inch (80 mm) base with a printed label and includes a booklet with facts about the building, its construction and its history. A striking and imaginative display for your desk, bookshelf or mantelpiece!
There's not much to say about LEGO that hasn't already been written a thousand times! It is the definitive building and construction brand, built (ha ha!) on enduring product quality and consistent high profile partnerships.
The company was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen, and remains a family-owned company based in Billund, Denmark, and best known for the manufacture of Lego brand toys.
